1. Who we are
QuoteBoost is an app for iPhone and Android that turns customer reviews into branded social media posts. It's run from India. Using QuoteBoost, or this website, means you agree to this policy.
2. What we collect
- Account: if you sign in with Google, your name, email address, profile picture and Google account ID.
- Business profile: whatever you choose to enter, such as your business name, owner name, contact details, addresses and website, plus your logo.
- Reviews and posts: the reviews you add (text, reviewer name and star rating) and the posts we make for you, including your edits.
- Basic logs: technical information such as IP address and request times, which keeps the service secure and working.
The app has no analytics or advertising tools. On this website, we count visits with a privacy-friendly service that uses no cookies and doesn't identify you. We don't access your location, contacts or photos, other than the logo you choose to upload. Your sign-in and app preferences are stored on your device.
3. How we use it
Only to run QuoteBoost: to design, save and show your posts, keep your account and businesses, answer support requests and prevent abuse. Never for advertising, and we never sell your data.
4. AI features
To write each post's headline and tidy its punctuation, the review text, reviewer name, star rating, your business name and type, your addresses and your logo's colours are processed by an AI service. Your logo, phone numbers, email addresses and Google account details are never sent to it. AI can make mistakes, so check each post before you share it.
5. Google Sign-In
If you sign in with Google, we use your name, email address, profile picture and account ID only to create and identify your QuoteBoost account. We don't use Google user data for ads, and we never sell it.
QuoteBoost's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
7. Security
All data travels over encrypted connections, access to it is restricted, and your sign-in is kept in your device's secure storage. Some of our providers may process data outside your country; where they do, they're bound to protect it.
8. How long we keep it
- Account, businesses and posts: until you delete them.
- If you use QuoteBoost without signing in: until you delete your business in the app or ask us to.
- Basic logs: about 30 days.
- Backups: deleted data may remain in backups for up to 30 days.
9. Your choices & rights
- Edit your business details, or delete any post or business, in the app at any time.
- Deleting your account removes your account, businesses, posts and images. How to delete your account.
- You can also ask us for a copy of your data, or to correct or delete it. We'll reply within 30 days.
In India, you can also nominate someone to exercise your rights for you, and complain to the Data Protection Board of India. In the EU and UK, you can also ask us to restrict processing or move your data, object to processing, and complain to your data protection authority. We don't sell or share personal information for targeted advertising.
10. Children
QuoteBoost is for people aged 18 and over, and we don't knowingly collect children's data. If you think a child has given us personal data, email us and we'll delete it.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. We'll tell you about important changes in the app or by email, and the date at the top always shows the latest version.
